I am not too savvy with the blogging world, but I know that when someone subscribes to a blog, they can receive a notification email when there is a new entry posted. As we are all members of the blog, rather than subscribers, I don't know if this is possible, but is there a way to set this up?
I would really love it, because I don't want to miss anything posted here, but sometimes I forget to check it ...

Lots of ways to do it Sully. I just use the RSS feed to let me know. On your web browser (explorer, firefox, safari) where the web address is (www.somethin.com) there will be an icon that looks either like three sound waves within a square, or will just say RSS. Click on the logo and it will walk you through how to set up the feed. You can also use google reader but you would need to check that as well since it doesn't show up right on your browser.
